The 2009 Polymers Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) will congregate an outstanding and diverse group of young and up-and-coming graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at the forefront of polymer research. The GRS is scheduled for June 20- 21, 2009 at Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Massachusetts and precedes the Polymers 2009 GRC (June 21-26). The Seminar will include a wide range of topics which complement the GRC theme of "Responsive and Multifunctional Polymers Enabling Emerging Technologies鈥�, including, but are not limited to: recent advances in the areas of polymer synthesis and physical characterization, tissue scaffolding and regeneration, drug and gene delivery, biomedical technologies, alternate energies, and smart surfaces and interfaces.
