Come and learn all about fluorine chemistry with a site tour of Mexichem. A global leader with over 50 years鈥� experience in the chemical and petrochemical industry you will have the opportunity to have a tour of Mexichem鈥檚 Plant and lab facilities at Rocksavage and The Heath. ChemNet members will also be able to get involved in many activities including the naming of refrigerants, learning about Mexichem鈥檚 chemical processes and products and discovering what their chemists do on a daily basis. Analytical systems and methods including titrations, GC-MS and HPLC will be demonstrated and shown how they are applied in this industry.
For students attending by public transport a mini bus will be put on from Runcorn train station picking students up between 8.30-8.45 and will drop students back to the station at approx. 3.15-3.30pm. When signing up please let us know if you will be needing transportation from the station."
