With Global change creating enormous challenges relating to energy, food and climate change, an action is both needed and urgent. Addressing these challenges means advancing fundamental scientific knowledge, supporting excellence in chemical science research and maximising the number of future breakthroughs.
The 蹤獲扦 is committed to enabling solutions to the worlds problems by working in partnership with professional bodies, academics and industry across the world. We endeavour to foster new interdisciplinary research networks, as well as working with the chemistry community to identify emerging areas of research to provide technological and sustainable solutions.
The main aim of the FRSC Forum in China is to provide an opportunity for scientists to acquire an insight into chemistry solutions to global challenges and to be inspired by the innovative and thought to provoke ideas from top researchers in China.
The second of the FRSC forum series, to be held on 6th November 2017, will be focusing on the important topic of human health. Our eminent speakers will present their views on how research in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and chemical biology can contribute to solving issues affecting human health and helping to create a better world.
President of the 蹤獲扦, Professor Sir John Holman, will attend this forum and provide a welcome speech. All the scientific talks and discussions of this forum will be delivered in Chinese. The forum itself is free to attend, but an online registration in advance is required.
