How to Join the (Free) 2020 #RSCPMGPoster Event:
1. This event will be held using Twitter, so you will need to create your own Twitter account. There are 'Twitter Tips For Beginners' available using the link at the right hand side of this page.
2. You can still register to submit a poster before 19th July 2020, by emailing tdb35@cam.ac.uk. Please include your name, RSC number (if you have one) and email address.
Those who register for the event will now be eligible for a free Affiliate Membership to the RSC, which includes a free subscription to one interest group. To do so, apply online at /membership-and-community/join/affiliate/#join using the discount code TC2020.
3. Tweet your poster, using your own Twitter account that you created in step 1, with a title, and #RSCPMGPoster – during the 48hr conference beginning 00:00 UTC 23 July 2020. That is 01.00 BST on the 23rd July 2020. Full joining Instructions will be sent to all participants by email on 20th July 2020.
- The video "How to Create a Twitter Poster" will give you helpful guidance on creating a new poster, or you can just upload one that you already have!
3. Discuss and engage – throughout the 48h conference; make sure to answer the questions from the community, committee and comment on other #RSCPMGPoster.
4. Win a prize if your #RSCPMGPoster is deemed best by the judges! NB - Only available to members of the Porous Materials Interest group.
