The Mid-Southern Counties Local Section invites you on a 90 minute circular walk in Minstead, to visit the grave of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of the most famous fictional detective in the world, Sherlock Holmes. Along the way, enjoy the beauty of nature as we explore the serene forest paths, and learn more about the poisonous plants that have inspired many a case that the great detective has ever solved, thanks to our CET guide.
Meet-up is outside the Trusty Servant pub in Minstead, where you can leave your car, on Sunday 27th April at 10am. We will then visit Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Grave, followed by a walk, a brief stop at Furzey Gardens for a coffee, and finishing with a Sunday roast back at the Trusty Servant pub.
Tickets are available for 25 adults. Transport not included. This walk is available to RSC members only, and is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
