萝莉社-West India Section and Wilson College, Mumbai have jointly organised a National Symposium on New Vistas in Chemistry on September 28,2013 to commemorate the 125th Year of the Chemistry Department of Wilson College which is the pioneer of Chemistry education at undergraduate and post graduate levels in Western India. The department started research programmes in Chemistry in 1917 and is an active centre of research in Reaction Kinetics, Coordination Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
The Symposium will provide a forum to teachers ,students and research scholars to interact with experts working in the emerging thrust areas of modern Chemistry. The abstracts of all the invited lectures will be brought out in the form of a souvenir.
