Title of Talk: 'The Museum of Power - Creating a future from the Past'

Synopsis: Early in the 20th Century, Essex, being the driest part of the UK, gained a then major investment to gather and pump water reliably using mighty Lilleshall engines. Half a century later these engines at Langford were redundant. A group of enthusiasts then moved in, restored the engines and set up one of the most promising independent registered museums. This is their and the museum's story. Free of charge meeting, pay bar available, tea and biscuits will be served after the talk.
