Delegates at the 2015 annual Westminster Health Forum seminar on next steps for NICE are expected to assess the challenges and opportunities facing NICE, priorities for the year ahead and beyond - including the delivery of the 2015/16 Quality Outcomes Framework (QOF).

Following the new system of value based assessments, due to be introduced in late 2014, further planned sessions focus on the role of NICE in encouraging innovation, and key issues surrounding pricing and the development of new medicines. There will also be discussion on safe staffing levels, with NICE currently developing guidelines.

We are delighted to include at this seminar keynote addresses from Professor Gillian Leng, Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Health and Social Care, NICE; Paul Catchpole, Director of Value and Access, ABPI; Dr Sunjai Gupta, Consultant and Senior Scientific Advisor, Health and Wellbeing Directorate, Public Health England; Professor Allan Wailoo, Professor of Health Economics, University of Sheffield and Director, NICE Decision Support Unit and Dr Zahid Latif, Head of Healthcare, Technology Strategy Board.

Omar Ali, Formulary Development Pharmacist, Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust; Dr Sheila Hardy, Education Fellow, UCL Partners; Patrick Hopkinson, Director, Market Access and External Affairs, Bristol-Myers Squibb; Dr Naz Jivani, Chair, NHS Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group; Andy Pike, Vice Chair, Patients Involved in NICE and Policy and Campaigns Officer, RNIB and Miles Scott, Chief Executive, St. George's Healthcare NHS Trust have also agreed to speak.
