The East Anglia Section annual dinner and lecture will be held at Beale's Roses, London Road, Attleborough, Norfolk, NR17 1AY on the 23rd June 2015. The event will begin at 5.00 p.m. and will comprise a tour of the gardens, demonstrations of rose propagation, dinner provided by the Sweet Briar Bistro followed by the lecture entitled "The Chemistry of Rose Scents" given by Dr Robin Clery of Givaudan, Suisse SA. In common with previous years, the evening is likely to appeal to chemists and non-chemists alike but in particular to those with an interest in horticulture or natural products chemistry. This will be an opportunity to enjoy the scent of many varieties of roses and to appreciate the complexities of rose fragrances.
