Introduction
Absolute Basics of GC & GC-MS
(1 day)
This one day seminar is the perfect introduction for absolute beginners to GC and GC-MS.  Although designed as a classroom based course, instrument parts & consumables will be used as teaching aids throughout the day.

Those returning to work with GC will find this to be an excellent refresher course on the subject.
What does it cover?
Absolute Basics of GC & GC-MS will have a strong focus on the practical, rather than the theoretical side of these techniques and will cover questions such as:-
What is a GC or GC-MS? How can these instruments help solve your analytical problems and what answers can they give?
When would you use them and what types of analytes and samples can you use them for?
How would you use them, how do they work and what is available?
This one day course is ideal as a stand-alone course. You will be able to apply what you learn on this course as soon as you return to your laboratory.
