On 17th January 2018, the University of Plymouth will be hosting a regional heat for the RSC School's Analyst Competition. The day will run from 10.00 until 15.00 with refreshments provided for competitors and teachers.
On the day, teams of three year 12 students will compete to win the title of South West regional winner and progress to the national competition. The competition will test team member's knowledge of chemistry and laboratory practical work. Teams also have the chance to win prizes for each team member and for their school in the form of funding toward chemistry equipment.
