19th International Symposium on Silicon Chemistry (ISOS-2020) / 10th European Silicon Days (ESD-10)

Introduction
Since the first ISOS meeting in Prague in 1965, ISOS has been held every three years in different cities on three continents. Now ISOS is undoubtedly the most important international symposium on Silicon Chemistry. ISOS-2020 will gather outstanding scientists from academia and industry to explore the frontiers of Silicon Chemistry from fundamental Science to the applied silicon chemistry. The ISOS-2020 program will consist of 8 plenary lectures (including the Kipping and the Wacker Silicone awardees’ lectures), 45 invited lectures, and four parallel sessions. The Plenary lectures will be presented by leading practitioners, including:

・Professor Don Tilley (UC Berkeley, USA)
・Professor Kim Baines (Western University, Canada)
・Professor David Scheschkewitz (University of Saarland, Germany)
・Professor Kazuyuki Kuroda (Waseda University, Japan)
・Professor Clément Sanchez (Collège de France, France)
・Professor Carole Perry (Nottingham Trent University, UK)
・Dr. Barry Arkles (Gelest Inc., USA, Kipping Award 2020)
・To be announced on May 2020 (Wacker Silicon Award 2020)
