Spectroscopic Methods in Radiochemistry Research

Introduction
Registration is now open for this one day meeting organised by the RSC Radiochemistry Group on Spectroscopic Methods in Radiochemistry Research. The meeting will feature a mixture of talks by Early Career Researchers and is open to anyone with an interest in the use of spectroscopic techniques in any area of nuclear or radiochemistry related research activities. Examples include, but are not limited to:
  • Nuclear medicine (therapy and imaging)
  • Environmental radiochemistry
  • Geological disposal
  • Materials performance
  • Underpinning chemistry and activities in the nuclear fuel cycle
  • Decommissioning activities
  • Remote sensing and robotics
  • Theory and computational modelling

Abstracts are invited for presentations and posters and should be submitted using the attached abstract template by the extended deadline of 20 June 2022 to Louise Natrajan (louise.natrajan@manchester.ac.uk).

RSC member - £50
Non-member - £60 
Student RSC member - £35 
Student non-member - £45 

A £10 discount on the registration fee applies to virtual attendees. Lunch and a wine reception are included in the registration fee for those attending in person.
