The 22nd Fluorine Interest Group Postgraduate Meeting will be held on 4-5th April 2024 at Newcastle University.
We are excited to announce the participation of three world-leading scientists as our plenary lecturers:
The conference will also provide the opportunity for ECRs, including postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers to give short oral presentations and/or participate in a poster session which will be held on 4th April.
The Fluorine Interest Group of the RSC supports all aspects of fluorine chemistry within the UK and we are looking for speakers across a broad range of disciplines which utilise fluorine chemistry. If you would like to be considered for an oral or poster presentation, please register and submit your abstract to matthew.hopkinson@newcastle.ac.uk by 15th March 2024 *NOTE - The deadline has been extended*. Abstract templates can be found on this page. Participants will be notified if they have been selected for an oral or poster presentation by 18th March 2024.

- Dr. Tatiana Besset, Director of Research CNRS (senior scientist) at the Universit茅 de Rouen, France, Recipient of the RSC Fluorine Chemistry Award 2023
- Dr. Matthew Tredwell, Lecturer in Medicinal Chemistry at Cardiff University and Research Radiochemist at the Wales Research and Diagnostic PET Imaging Centre
- Dr. Yi Jin, Wellcome Trust Sir Henry Dale Fellow at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, University of Manchester
