The advances in long-acting therapeutics meeting aims to bring together researchers in the area of long-acting therapies, from multiple disciplines, to discuss the current state-of-the-art and future opportunities. The development of long-acting therapeutics is accelerated with a multi-disciplinary approach, to ensure that the therapies being developed with desirable physical properties as materials are viable therapeutically, as well as feasible for translation into a medicinal product. We welcome input from material scientists, pharmacologists, pharmacists and industrial researchers at all career stages to share current research strategies as well as help to identify challenges along the development pipeline.
